See that black line in the water right behind the piling?

That is an old brick wall from the fort that is about three feet under water now.

Several years back we went to Ship Island and saw two guys fishing while standing on top that wall in the water.

We were standing in about the same place from where you took that picture and could see a large shark swimming back and forth across that wall right next to the guys fishing.

I yelled at them to warn them and they said the shark has been swimming there all day and they were OK.

This shark looked to be a good 8 feet long and if he wanted to he could have eaten both of them.

What are they doing now to attract even more tourist? The island is not that bad (haven't been in like 10 yrs) and I wouldn't mind seeing high-rises of some sort showing on the island. I wished Biloxi could have the blue water like the island, or the panhandle but I hope the casino industry can add the "atlantic city" feel to it.
