Anybody into Mississippi native Randy Houser? (Southaven, Corinth: pine, county, famous)

I’m a huge country fan so I was excited when I heard this song called “Boots On” by Randy Houser. I dig his style and I love the video to “Boots On” with the little boy singing to it, it is real funny. So I decided to download the album "Anything Goes" and I am really into it. I also read that he was born and raised in Mississippi which I thought was cool because I was not sure where he was from. Does anyone else dig his music?

I like to support as much local music as possible but the closest thing to country I can take is Dirt Brothers. They are a southern rock/country fusion with a few guys from Southaven. Check YouTube because one of their videos was filmed in Hernando.

My musical tasts are closer to 3 Doors Down (Kiln) and Saving Abel (Corinth). I've seen Gabby Johnson (Desoto county) open up for a major headliner here in Southaven. Finally you have the Grammy winning North Mississippi Allstarts from Hernando.

There are dozens of famous blues artists like BB King, Robert Johnson and Pine Top Perkins that were/are from MS.

This state is full of very talented musicians and singers.
