Hotel to stay in Hattiesburg (apartment, hotels, house)

I'm planning to come over the weekend of the 27th staying through the 30th (3 nights) for house/apartment hunting in Hattiesburg. The hotel prices listed for a 3 star hotel like Holiday Inn or the Courtyard by Marriott was a little expensive. I was just checking to see if someone knows a way I could get a little discount on my 3 night stay at those hotels so as not to break my back in the process of house hunting.

i work in the hotel industry, actually at one of the hotels you mentioned. honestly, there aren't too many hotels in the hattiesburg area that are less than 100 a night. the ones around the 70-80 dollar range would be laquinta, microtel, baymont inn, inn on the hill, comfort inn and quality inn. those are the only ones i have never receieved neg. feedback from. hope this helps..
