Default question about property taxes
I have a question about property taxes. Two of my uncles, my sister, and my self own two lots in Mississippi. One uncle refuses to pay the property taxes and I was wondering if there is someway that if the other three of us did pay his share that we could get this share if we ever sold the lots. Thanks so much!

Sounds like you need to get a lawyer to draw up some papers and have your uncle agree to sign over his portion of the property, although there may be some restitution involved since your uncle does have part ownership currently. Find a lawyer and/or accountant who has experience in that field of law.
