Default info on Natchez
I was wondering if anyone could give me the scoop on Natchez. A friend of mine got a job offer there and neither of us has ever been. Does it have a nice downtown, etc? Any help would be much appreciated.

Natchez's glory days were before the Civil War. Other than having a lot of cool old antebellum homes (many not in such great shape any more), Natchez is mostly a dirty old river town, not much impressive. The downtown is dying like most traditional old downtowns.
