What do you think about Gautier??
Hey Everyone!
Well the time is getting closer to make the move off this beautiful island in Texas and on to MS. I am close to renting a home in the Gautier area close to a Bayou. Any thoughts??

I've never ventured that far over...I usually don't go past Ocean Springs and now that I don't work in OS anymore, as far east as I'll go is Biloxi...where will you be working?

Hubby will be working at the shipyard in Pascagoula,
I really cant find too much info on Gautier and no one seems to be answering my post so I guess I will just have to wing it. Thank you fro your response though.

I'm sorry your having to move to MS. - we moved here last year from Jacksonville, FL. - Try Ocean Springs or St. Martin which is north of OS - it's a much nicer area.

There are several golf courses in the Gautier area (Shell Landing, St. Andrews, The Preserve, Gulf Hills, Mississippi National). One would assume there are some nice subdivisions near those. Downtown Ocean Springs is very nice and there are dozens of nice subdivisions in Ocean Springs (see realtor.com).

What is your husband going to be doing there?
Is he going to be working for Northrop Grumman?
How long does the hiring process take, including interviews and testing?
I know that they are hiring a lot of welders and I've been thinking about applying myself.
