Thats kinda what I figured. I would think we would be rotating when actual production starts.

Nov. 17th! I am about to lose hope, 10 plus weeks seems like a long time to not be called for Day 2.

Interesting Info: In check out line tonight at Kroger with none other than a Toyota person here from Kentucky. This person informed me(cause I ask many questions) that in January and February mostly Team Leaders and few Team Members will be hired. When they are all finished with orientation and other business at the plant different groups will go to train at other places.
During this time, they wil hire many many team members to be ready to train when team leaders return. Many will be brought in for Day 2, interview ect once they get the ones I mentioned out of the way. They have to get these people in and out of all these processes first so they can move ahead. He said " March will be a very busy month for Toyota"
Point being: If you are waiting (talking to you mizz boyd) its coming. Take a breath say a prayer be calm. He said that many people are in a hold zone. They cant bring them up yet because Toyota
isnt ready yet. He was so nice and so matter of fact. I couldnt wait to tell the board this.
BTW he said that if you made it thru Day1 you were ahead of several 1000 that didnt get called to take it.

Hello everyone! Preparing for my move to the Tupelo area this weekend. Starting on the 14th.

I'm going to check out the Ole Miss basketball game after work on the 16th. If anyone wants to tag along, that's cool.

You mentioned how nice he was...I must say everyone that I have dealt with that is hired in the company has been just that. It seems as though Toyota not only hires who they think will do the job the best, but also who are good people. There is a "family" aura and that's nice t know considering it's a production facility. Most production plants care about one thing...production. Toyota cares about their people before their production!
