Just a reminder to anyone that may be interested in other ventures, I am currently in process with several other companies that some of you may want to check out: Kia Motors, Georgia, Hyundai Montgomery, AL, Honda Lincoln, AL, Nissan Canton & Olive Branch, MS, Smyrna & Knoxville, TN, ThyssenKrupp Steel Calvert, AL, Cooper Tires Tupelo, MS, Philip Morris Tobacco, Anheuser Busch, Coors, Amtrak, CSX railroad, Norfolk Railroad, Kansas City Railroad, Volkswagen Chattanooga, TN, Johnson Controls, Inteva, and the list goes on. Yes, some of these jobs are currently hiring only professional positions, but some are hiring all across the board. Many of these I found out about through professional networking, but it is worth looking into if you are interested. Also, I see here in Tuscaloosa, AL where Mercedes is still hiring temps at $14-$16 hr. I know from my experience of working there for many years, they do take good care of their temps. When we got end of year bonus, they did also. They did not get the same amount, but as for the temps I think that they were satisfied with the $1500 that they did receive. Hey guys, I had my day 2 simulation on Thursday 03/03/2011. What is the average wait time to hear any word if you failed/passed, or receive email phone call for interview? I tested with 13 other candidates and beleive we all did quite well. Can anyone shed any light?

I did my day 2 physical assessment on a Thursday and was called to set up an interview the following Tuesday afternoon. I remember being surprised it was that quick. The contingent offer came within a week after the interview. Best of Luck to you!

Think of it as an in between time. They have yet to call you for an interview but you have been "marked" to be called. Same thing happened to my husband. They called the day after his status first read those words. So, you will be called, you just don't know exactly when. The experience has been different for everyone.

Oh, okay. I didn't realize that. I wouldn't worry though, the status updates aren't exactly reliable. My husband has been hired already and his status through the toyota application update says they are still processing his app. and it may be 12 months etc. You've got the hard parts out of the way, just wait for the call. It will come!
