mi01,which computer tests did you take? One for production, one for maintenance? Husband took production computer test Oct.30. No letter, e-mail, or phone call as of yet. We're just glad a letter hasn't been sent. We are from out of state also. There is an interesting article in regard to hiring and plant progress at clarionledger.com. It provides some insight as to why there hasn't been much hiring . Looks like they are waiting for machinery to come in before they start hiring large numbers. They can't exactly hire people until they actually have something for them to do.

PM - 2AM. That should be pretty close.

Hello everyone, I just found this site after looking for something just like it. I applied in Aug 2010, got my email telling about day 1 assessment 10/15. I took that assessment 10/21 at DeSoto County WIN. I got my next email telling me about signing up for day 2 assessment 11/29. I selected 12/16 and look forward to it. I spent a few hours reading another forum mainly concerning Canada members and their steps. They report that you will receive a letter from Toyota in 2 to 3 weeks after day 2 assessment if you have not been chosen for farther assessment. Many stated it took about 2 months after that before they were scheduled for their interviews. Things seem to be moving much faster in Blue Springs. If anyone has any info about what I should expect from this point please pass it along to me. I read everything here and I feel very encouraged to have reached this stage of the process. I read another post on another forum that states that only 21% of those that test day 1 are invited for day 2. After that is all dependent on your performance at day 2 and your background check/drug tests/interview. I really hope to see everyone in Blue Springs soon, I have my fingers crossed for us all. I am being considered for a production team member, but I have a long history of production manager/supervisor as well as personnel management, so I'm no sure if any of that will factor in during my evaluations.

Gratz Hayabusa!! Good hear the hiring is finally kicking off. Hopefully there will be many more good news posts soon. I go for my Day 2 Dec. 16. From what I've read here it should be fine. My references and criminal check are solid so my performance should be the only determining factor. Can't wait to finally shake hands with those I have only met in chat. Good luck everyone and lets all lean together for support.

I was told this afternoon, when I was offered a position. That the shifts were 6:30a-3:15pm and 6:30p-3:15a on a two week rotation.
