Hope this helps those with questions.
Good deal.............

Congrats!!! That is very good news and you don't have much longer now to be a Toyota Employee. I pray that your father gets stronger and stronger each day.

Your firts pay date would be May 20th and don't think I've heard of anyone getting relocation assistance unless they were already an employee being transferred.

It was a lot of observing and then actually working on the line, after extensive instruction, while in production. You have to be constantly thinking ahead. Teamwork is so important to pull off such a massive operation. Safety and quality are of the utmost importance. All the team members I worked with were great and eager to share their knowledge as most have been there since the plant opened in 1988. I was made to feel like part of the team from day 1 and when I left I felt as if I were leaving a job I had been on for some time. It was an eye opening experience and fast paced, hard work so be ready to work but at the same time be ready to have a feeling of pride that something you helped build is now a major investment for some family to use to carry their families around safely and in style. This is like no other job you will have ever worked because no one does it "Toyota Style" except TOYOTA. Good luck to all applicants.

Default Benefits

So, I never received a pamphlet or other informative packet on Benefits at Toyota for Production Team Members. Can someone detail the benefits package on here? Aside from wage info, I mean. What insurance is it, what vacation and other days off do you get, do benefits start day 1 or after 3 months, and what other benefits are there? Also, what (if any) are the discounts on Toyota vehicles?
