After careful consideration, your qualifications do not match our hiring needs at this time". I had completed all phases of the process, including the interview (March 17th). I have 7 years of automotive assembly experience, and was not able to land a position. My qualifications weren't good enough? Unbelievable.
When did your online status change ? Doesn't make sense that you have 7 years of automotive experience. That may be what they are looking for though, now that I think of it. Most of the people that I know that have been hired have been from different fields of work and are completely new this field.

Yeah, that's what I'm thinking too. My parents worked at the Nissan Plant for 5 yrs and they got rejection letters too. On the other hand I am still in the race and I work in a school cafeteria. I just don't know.

My interview was on March 17th. There is nothing in my background (going back at least 7 years or further) that would jepordize my chances at being considered. I have not "missed" any info in my background becauses there isn't any to report. If you think for one minute that Toyota or any other company or corportation in this country doesn't discriminate in one form or another, you have not lived or worked long enough to have experienced it first hand. Believe me, it exists, very much so. Toyota or Hireright may have possibly made a mistake with my file and disqualifed me without intending to. I will try to contact them and verify that I have indeed been removed from consideration. I agree that they would not have brought me all this way, through several phases, including an interivew/drug screen/background check just to change my status as "unqualified". Thanks for the well wishes.
Sorry to hear about your application. I work for Toyota and my wife applied back in December after being laid off from her job of 15 years and has an outstanding work background, is physically fit and her background is impeccable. She was turned down last week after having been told online and in a phone call she had passed on to the interview phase. I am certain her application was mixed with someone elses and got their results. This isn't the 1st time I've heard of this. Not sure who to contact to try and get it corrected and at this point I don't think they will reverse their decision.

I wasn't worried about the hiring process, NOW, I am. That is not right.

Default What about disclosure, what you trying to hide!!!

Whats' wrong with experience, skill and nack at doing a job, why shun those with a proven track record in auto manufacturing. What people started and invented modern methods in the plants across the country. Who copied and used our auto industry to made in-roads in the good old U.S.A.

I agree 100%, I'm getting worried and don't know why either. I have a job already so am not stressing about it, not getting hired, but I'm hopeful. It is what it is!!! Half of us that make it, might quit, because it was not what we had expected it to be. Just keep your head up

I'm right along with y'all....I don't know what to think any more either. Right now, I don't have a job and really need one badly. I'm hoping it comes through, but if not, it is what it is....

There is nothing wrong with experience... but as we all know everyone will not make it. Even if you have experience or not. There are only 2,000 slots and everyone wants it. I dont know how they are doing their hiring but it seems to me that going by what hireright is doing is not really going to help. Seeing as how the person a few posts back was rejected and had a clean record and experience.
