Default Usm-gulf coast

I was at the Gulfport last week and decided to check out USM at the coast. Campus looks so devastating and still exhibiting the ruins of KATRINA. The college to me doesn't seem to have any interest in rebuilding certain structures right at the entrance of the college which makes it very unattractive to prospective students.

I was wondering if any one have any ideas as to what plans the college have in rebuilding those structures and attracting more students(nationally&internationally)?

This article suggests 2013 before the campus is revived but also that a new campus is planned north of I-10.

Thanks for the link Tama. It did answered my questions and I believe USM is heading the right path with plans of restructuring Llyod Hall for classroom purpose to facilitate evacuation in the event of hurricane. Good news with the approval of a new science building and also increase in student enrollment.
