Thank you in responding, but I am not interested in playing games with this. My answer is simple the RN programs. If I wanted BSN or LPN I would have asked that. So if you have information thank you. A simple answer will do.

LOL

RN programs fall into 2 (well, 3 if you there are diploma programs in your area) catergories- ADN or BSN. That is what you were being asked.

I'm not sure of schools in the area but I just wanted to clear something up. I have been researching the nursing field myself and correct me if I'm wrong but she is valid by asking about RN information. LPN and BSN are other educational levels.

Community colleges may offer an Associate Degree in Nursing. Some community colleges may also offer an accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program that may be completed in as little as three years.

Once a nurse has graduated with a nursing diploma or an Associate Degree in Nursing, they must become licensed by the board of nursing in their state of choice. When they finish, they become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or a Registered Nurse (RN) depending on their type of license examination.

So it appears that there are options and then certain examination criteria depending on which she chooses and she is looking at the RN option. Not the LPN or BSN. Right? I would like to know the steps as well. Is it education or only the test itself that makes the difference? Thanks!

Thanks for explaining that for me. I have also learned that each state has their own way for refering to Nursing degrees. So if I may restate my question, I would like to get a Ass.Degree in Nursing (ADN) or (RN).
