My name is Roger. My wife Alice and I have lived here in Long Beach since 1993. I'm retired from the Air Force and am now partially retired from work.
Long Beach is a nice town. It's known as the friendly city. We live in what is known as "south of the tracks" 4 blocks from the beach. The area south of us was pretty much devastated by hurricane Katrina. Our house was pretty heavily damaged but we're almost back to normal. The town is also slowly coming back "south of the tracks".
