Water VAlley is way too clicky for me. If you don't go to a certain church in that town you are considered "redneck".

Hi. I've received word that my boss is opening a small restaurant "near the Wallmart" in Grenada and may send me and two or three of my current coworkers there to operate it. Can anyone advise me about housing in the area? One of my goals is to build a small house or cabin in the next year or so but with Obama-care coming online I will not have more than six hundred dollars a month to live on. Can anyone offer advice?

Grenada is an exrtemely small town, not to sure about Water, and of course Oxford is a University town. All with their own pros and cons.

Grenada isn't that small! And Interstate 55 runs along its west side, so there is quite a bit of commerce.
Water Valley has been experiencing a bit of growth in the last few years because it is cheaper to live there than it is in Oxford and Lafayette County.

Grenada in land is half the size of Meridian and has a little less than half its population which is around 19,000.
Its not Mayberry, but that is half the size of Meridian and that is SMALL!!!, but i do like the Music Recording studio they have there, its nice!
