We are very excited to be moving to the Hamilton area soon! I was wondering if there are suggestions about activities for my 2 year old (soon to be 3 year old) in the Hamilton area and Missoula? I know about the Children's Museum which looks great, but other suggestions? I think there is an indoor pool in Hamilton... Any rec center activities for toddlers, or preschool music classes? Especially in the winter we are looking for some indoor activities for him. I'd rather not drive to Missoula a lot but could do that once a week.

Also we are still deciding about our future home- we found one in Victor but I'm uncertain of the schools- one contact I have said it was a nice small school with low student-teacher ratios, but it looks like opportunites might be limited? We were told that we could apply to send our kids to Corvallis or Stevensville schools if we wanted, but when I contacted them they were a little bit vague about how hard this is to do because it depends every year on class size - anyone have experience with these school districts?

Thanks very much!

Funny screen name ! I didn't think the Portland airport was big enough to get lost in !! .

I'm just razzin ya to bump your post up. Someone may come along soon with info for you on schools. The whole Bitterroot Valley is great but filling up pretty quickly just like the Flathead Valley is. Good luck.

As far as Missoula - we never get through there without stopping at the carousel and letting the urchins run around the Dragon Hollow play area which is a maze with slides, swing sets, and some other activities for kids.
