It is true that the more people that are in a room the temperature will get warmer, especially during the winter. Household appliances like refrigerators and incandescent light bulbs actually emit quite a bit of heat as well. I do not use incandescent light bulbs in my house anymore; I buy the CFL ones and recycle them when they go out.

Good for you, Plains! We used to use them but need to go out and get some more. They really are energy saving!

I don't know about light bulbs etc ........ but as a business I get a call at least 1 time a month to buy some special light bulbs that will save me $ ..but I have to buy them by the case! .........and never fails they call about the time the kids are napping and wake them up!

GRRRR! Don'tcha just HATE IT when that happens?! I recently got a second phone number and it hasn't been very long since it belonged to someone else so I get tons of phone calls for other people...and they sometimes wake my husband up from his naps, too! Teeheehee!

Drats!!! I was hoping to brag about the home my husband built with his own hands but the damn scanner ain't working right now. I can't seem to find the other picture of the house being done. Maybe when I move I will find them. LOL
