Help Me Find this story (Jefferson City: living, office, county)

In the late '80's there was a Highly Educated woman living by Jefferson City in a Tent she was found dead from exposure after she got hug up in the mud by the river.

I really need this story.

Never heard of the story. Have you contacted the Jefferson City newspaper or researched the story in the archives of the paper at the library (likely microfiche)? I'd try the latter prior to the former. If those efforts fail maybe an old-timer in the sheriff's department (Calloway Co.) or the county corner's office knows the story?

Yea I was going to make calls there in the morning.I'm wanting to do a story for Church and would like to add this one.

At the time I thought it said a lady was living and died like this literally in the shadows of our state capital.
