Default with all of the expansions in areas...

have you seen a raise in taxes?

See the area I live in .........was at one time the small town USA ....... and since the mini Mcmansions are up and the .. big ones are starting ... and roads are being put in ...they have put in 2 new schools ...

heres and example our first house we purchased ...

17 years ago
taxes were 400
the next year 850
the next year 950
in about 5 years we put on the market
Taxes were 1400

This was a 800 sq foot home in the city .. gravel drive way ..no sidewalks nothing fancy just a nice starter home.
We ran into the guy that purchased it from us .. his taxes are 2800
no garage nothing!

So I was just wondering if this could happen there?

This year we dont even have our tax bill ............ the city has not made up the tax factor numbers yet ........... we find this a bunch of BS!!!

so those in growing communities have you seen a tax hike?
