I don't really know where to put this, but my parents are finally retiring in a few months, and one of the states their looking at is Missouri. Since they can't stand small towns, they've pretty much narrowed it down to Kansas City or St. Louis. So I'm helping them with the search. Just some questions,

What are the pro and cons of each city?

Which areas of these cities are more suited for retirees?

Which city has "more" access to Asian cuisine?(this is important to them)

What's the summer and winter like in MO? Keep in mind they've lived in SoCal for the past 20 years since immigrating here.

Far more asians in STL than in KC. Check out Olive south of 170 or Maryland Heights. STL is more diverse than KC. Does that mean it's better? Yes, I think so.

STL is also larger than KC by about a million people. STL metro = 2.8 million, KC metro = under 2 million. On the other hand, KC is also newer in many of its parts. It is also much more sprawled out than STL. STL is sprawled out in an east-west direction, KC is sprawled in a north-south direction.
