Default any historians in the audience?

I

I am searching for information on a train accident that happened January 1 1948. I believe it was in the Edina area and there were at least 3 deaths.
Those killed that I am trying to get info on were Mr. Alexander W. Waddell his wife Virginia Chase Waddell ( who was born in Edinaon 2/20/1874). Also killed was Mrs. Waddell's assistant Violet Mary Andrews, a native of England.

If anyone has any knowledge, newspaper articles or pictures of the accident scene or marker/monuments etc., and you could share them I would truly appreciate it.
Thank you for your time.

You should write to the local historical society and the library in Edina, I'm sure either one would have information about it.
Arundel

It wasn't in Edina, it was Otterville, in Cooper County.
