We have traveled to Missouri many times when we lived in Arkansas. And the financial climate of Missouri is very much to our liking. We're waiting with baited breath this weekend to see if I get a job in Farmington, Missouri. And if I get the green light, I'm outta Florida. Been here a year and this place, it's more the job than anything, is a joke. A real joke. And housing, you can't touch here. I was quoted for a 150-thousand-dollar house a 16 hundred dollar payment due to Florida and their damn taxes. I'm loving what I'm seeing as far as housing is concerning in Farmington. I can afford it there and I've been in contact with a realtor there since the start of this process. So hopefully, we'll be in Mizzo by the end of September...

I grew up in Missouri and loved it. My family all migrated to Texas in the 60s. My dad always wanted to come back to MO and he and mom did for a few years. But they came back to Texas. I always wanted to come back and live in MO, too. I have been here for a year and a half and I am going back to Texas next summer. The thing is, all the rest of the family is in Texas and I can't be happy without my grandkids and great grandkids. It was the same for dad. I love the winter best here and I will miss that, but my family will make up for it. It doesn't matter where you live if you are with loved ones.
