Default Dealerships in Farmington

Hello Mo,
My husband has been talking to a service manager in farmington. It seems were getting a cold shoulder. Will he have trouble finding a job in the auto industry because hes a Cali man? We need to move but now it seems work may be an issue because of where were coming from?

DH works for a Cadillac dealer here in KC, formerly Major Cad, now Conklin Fangman Motors. Right now the car business is very "iffy" . It is always feast or famine, right now it is famine. DH is on the service end of the business, and we think business will get better once people get used to the name change of the dealer and find out all the same service people are still there.
He should have no trouble finding a job in the car business no matter where he is from! Good luck.

Thanks Mrs mo, We definetly understand the feast or famine part of the business here in Cali also. People here, I think their just trying to steer us away from moving. They only have negative things to say about the entire midwest and we only see possitive. KWIM!

We have noticed so many California people here in KC lately. Someone just moved in around the corner from us from LA. Is everyone leaving the coast?

Let me start by saying im not a prejudice person. My friends and family all want to leave here because thier are so many spanish speaking people that you cant get a good job unless you speak thier language. So many of us english speakers are just fed up. Way to many Illegals causing traffic accidents with no insurance, no licences, no nothing. In turn our insurance rates are up also. A friend of ours couldnt get a job as a custodian at the school because he was not bi-lingual. When you go to burger king here, their all spanish and can barely take your order. The last draw for me was my 7 yr old daughter coming home from school with a spanish accent. OH and every school meeting I go to Im forced to sit and listen to each topic in english and then repeated in spansih. ITs so infuriating. No ones doing anything here. Were the minority now and these illegals come in take our jobs and get all the state benefits for free while we struggle to make it. Thats a big part of the problem here but only part. Houses are to expensive, crime rate is high. I could just go on and on. Other then that Im a bessed happy woman. A very nice man lives around the corner and told us all about Mo. Hes going back also. Hes got us dreaming of Mo blue skies.
