Not really. everything is fun and games until reality hits you hard. Then you have to take a step back and realize what is really important.

Joplin is under tornado warning, the storm is anticipated to hit Joplin in 21 minutes. It is heartbreaking to think of what an effect this may have on rescue efforts.

Trying to track down my cousin from Joplin. Do you know if there is a list somewhere of people who were rescued or found? Thanks
By the way I hope everyone is hanging in there!

From the Joplin Globe this morning:

No names of those identified are to be released until their identities are confirmed by techniques such as visual confirmation, DNA, dental records and X-rays. Chappel said that could take some time, especially for those whose identification is unknown. The unknown numbered 30 on Monday.

Thank you. I haven't been able to reach him since the tornado hit. I hope he is just without service. I appreciate your reply.

There were up to a dozen cell phone towers toppled. US Cellular has been using Verizon's towers. Try a text message rather than a call - they seem to be getting through.
