Missouri had a 4.2 quake during the night:

Magnitude 4.2 - MISSOURI (http://earthquake.usgs.gov/earthquakes/recenteqsww/Quakes/usc00041ic.php - broken link)

I heard and felt either the actual quake or some kind of pre-quake, but only because I was already up answering nature's call. My half-awake thought was, "hmmm...earthquake? Nah, probably just a big truck rumbling past on the road." I went back to bed and didn't hear or feel anything else. My younger daughter said it woke her up, though. She thought it was thunder at first, until the house shook a bit, and then she thought it must have been a sonic boom. The rest of the family, however, slept through the whole thing. LOL

I didn't feel it but I was restless and couldn't go to bed last night. What time did it occur? The data on the linked site shows today's date and makes it appear as though it was this morning instead of last night.

Interesting .. I did get up about that time and heard something that I didn't quite recognize. I too was answering nature, laid back down, and before I could go back to sleep, heard this strange noise and (sad to say) thought it was some kind of gun shot. I looked at the clock, and it was about that time.
