The adventures of Indy's move to MO....continues
I just heard from Indy and they finally got the permits they needed to move their home over the roads. They were hoping to get to Indianapolis tonight but of course that would be too easy right?? So they are cruising down the highway when Indy looks in the rear view mirror and sees the doggone roof shingles start to peel up off the roof and flap in the wind. Not good! They pull into a rest stop to put a fix to the problem and low and behold the frikkin hitch managed to take a dump on em! It turns out that the shingles wigglin' around more than likely saved a major disaster from happening on the open road because had that hitch let loose @ 50-60 mph....
So the plan is to get the hitch repaired, the shingles secured and hit the road towards MO as soon as they can.
Stay tuned folks for the updates as soon as I can post em up here

Looks as if the astronauts are not the only ones experiencing a possible disaster, considering the problems they are having. Good luck to Indy and his. That is lucky and unfortunate at the same time. Thanks for the update.

Hey Dajammer - thanks for the update. I'm glad his shingles got him to pull over. Everything happens for reason, right? I'm glad Indy has you to update us on his travels. Gripster, still has yet to tell her tale, but will soon.

***updatin'*** I got a call from Indy this afternoon and they have made it into MO. One of the trucks was getting overheated so they had to shut down for awhile but they are back up and currently makin' a run for Cabool. Heck Indy said they may just drive all the way through to home base! I have the digits crossed that Indy and mamagator make it home tonight! I'll let ya'll know more as soon as I hear from them again.

Boy, ain't it the truth! Sounds like a few more days of temperatures around the century mark, and then when Indy gets more settled it should be really nice--at least I hope so! Pullin' for you and prayin' for you--you're almost home in Cabool!
