Yup! Us retirees are takin' over. Soon enough this will look like a Del Webd community. Workin' people will need a visa to get in and Califoreigners will need lobotamies, if they're allowed in at all. Since we don't need 'em we'll depress wages so far that even illegals will shun us. A veritable Garden of Eden in the making!

So rural Missouri will be populated by wealthy old-timers like Curmudgeon and (eventually) CaliBassman and dumbass Missouri hillbilly workers like me with a sprinkling of homesteader/homeschoolers, while the effete types settle in St. Louis and Kansas City. I can live with that.

I hear all the smart people are moving to southern Indiana. I wonder what's going on there?

Kinda like a refugee camp for those who have been tossed out of other places. Next up for southern Indiana, a giant tent city for the homeless from all over. All that flat land and corn for fodder, dontcha know.

Hmm, I have Louisville in my backyard on the other side of the river. I doubt you've ever been to the area.

How wrong you are. Southern Indiana is mostly wooded and hilly with a smaller percentage of the land in farms. I can be in the middle of Louisville in a half hour or out in the middle of the Hoosier National Forest in 45 minutes. Also, Indy is two hours away and Cincinnati is 1.5 hours away.

The bad side is that most of southern Indiana is exactly like Kentucky
Well, it is better than Ohio
