Okay, I'm confused. Can someone tell me how NWV got from 110 on August 19th to 1201 today?
No offense to you at all, Voyager, but I have seen others with similar scores and have often wondered how this happens. You just get to be the topic 'cause it was so obvious here in this thread.
Anyway, I see that you joined in the same month that I did... Hmmm...I see that YOU have written 2885 posts and I have "only" written 585. That may have something to do with it! Hahaha! Ya think???!!!
Okay, so I think I may have answered my own question. Just in case others have wondered, as well, I think I'll take a risk and just post this anyway.
I feel like I should add that I am grateful for all the help that so many of you give to others here in the forum. Of course, da jammer is king but there are so many others, including you, Voyager! I'd give you another rep but I just did in another thread.
Now, if someone will answer this next question, I'll be happier than a pig in slop! Please tell me how some people are able to give more than one rep point at a time. I remember some discussion of it in the past but wouldn't have a clue how to go back and find it! I do recall that it had something to do with reaching a certain level first...but I thought the discussion "back then" was that these multiple reps were passe'.

mrs.g
thank u friend for the special hug,
the amount of reps one can give out is according to the number of positive reps one already has and apparently the amount of posts. But here is the basics in this link,

I wondered about this myself, especially when I notice those that have recently began coming to CDF have garnered many rep points, while some that first came here many months ago, have so few rep points. You are correct in that the posts do have quite a bit to do with this. I, myself, as my name under my name says, wander all over the place on CDF. I go to Real Estate, Parenting, Relationships, House, Food and Drink, etc. And of course here, my 'Home Base' and where I first came.
You may have noticed some from other forums coming here to 'Our" Missouri forum, thanks to da jammer, ShadowCaver and others. They have been kind enough and generous with their rep points to me. Some for good posts, so they say and others just for friendliness and because of who they are here on CDF. I will humbly admit that not all, if very many, OK, hardly any of my posts warrants the number of rep points that I have so graciously been given.
Admittedly, I am 'A Rep Point Junkie' as the previous post refers to. We are by no means, any smarter, more intellectually endowed, nor are we supreme beings. We are fun loving and 'REP POINT JUNKIES'. It is a game
And, when you receive many rep points AND have many posts attributed to your fine postings , you can and do spread more 'love, cookies, rep points to your buddies, friends, and cohorts. such as I believe I just did to you.
As I said, this is FUN. Not to take away from any seriousness of the questions asked on the forum, nor the sincere postings. This is something extra and away from the main stream of CDF. Check out under Other Topics and see what I am referring to and then go to General Forums and go on down the line. You may find some forums and threads that interest you and then contribute to. I personally believe that you are a very knowledgeable young lady and would enjoy sharing your experiences and research with others. So, having said all of this, as if I know so d@#$ much, thanks for the question. Very good.....

Here are some links for ya to check out, and in the game forum is a popular one called the rep fueling station. every one gives each reps while playing.
http://www.city-data.com/forum/games-trivia-etc/
And if you want to make more friends, well there are tons in this forum,
http://www.city-data.com/forum/other-topics/
Trying to think. I started out in the NC Forums, and About Forum (where I met da jammer, then ShadowCaver lol) the Other Topics Forum, MO Forum, and a whole bunch in between. lol.
