I go to Real Estate, Parenting, Relationships, House, Food and Drink, etc. And of course here, my 'Home Base' and where I first came.
You may have noticed some from other forums coming here to 'Our" Missouri forum, thanks to da jammer, ShadowCaver and others. They have been kind enough and generous with their rep points to me. Some for good posts, so they say and others just for friendliness and because of who they are here on CDF. I will humbly admit that not all, if very many, OK, hardly any of my posts warrants the number of rep points that I have so graciously been given.
Admittedly, I am 'A Rep Point Junkie' as the previous post refers to. We are by no means, any smarter, more intellectually endowed, nor are we supreme beings. We are fun loving and 'REP POINT JUNKIES'. It is a game
And, when you receive many rep points AND have many posts attributed to your fine postings , you can and do spread more 'love, cookies, rep points to your buddies, friends, and cohorts. such as I believe I just did to you.
As I said, this is FUN. Not to take away from any seriousness of the questions asked on the forum, nor the sincere postings. This is something extra and away from the main stream of CDF. Check out under Other Topics and see what I am referring to and then go to General Forums and go on down the line. You may find some forums and threads that interest you and then contribute to. I personally believe that you are a very knowledgeable young lady and would enjoy sharing your experiences and research with others. So, having said all of this, as if I know so d@#$ much, thanks for the question. Very good.....

Well said, Voyager! Yet another reason why you have, in fact, earned many of those reps you've received!

Trying to think. I started out in the NC Forums, and About Forum (where I met da jammer, then ShadowCaver lol) the Other Topics Forum, MO Forum, and a whole bunch in between. lol.

Thanks, autumngal! I clicked on the links and discovered that I have actually been to both of those sites! Haha! Not much, though. I didn't know there were reps to be had or I might have stayed longer! Being in this MO forum with my friends and where I feel I can make a difference in someone's life with some of my little posts... ...okay, okay...my sometimes VERY BIG POSTS!... ...seems so rewarding and somehow justifies spending so much time online. kwim?

MUCH less of a "rep thread" and more of a historical archive now Plains10. After all at least folks can go back and see where all the MO forum rep madness actually started

Thank you Plains10. The reading of this thread was similar to reading a diary of events long past. I am now reminded of 'our' beginnings on this forum and the many whom we are thankful for, for sharing so much. And being friendly. That is the best part. Being friendly.
Most of us came here seeking answers to questions about and of Missouri and in our quest, found something just a little bit better...friendship with folk we don't even know. And some that we don't even know their true names. Or for that matter, what they look like. Eh, Shadow? For many of us, this is our virgin trip down the posting and forum venture. So much to learn and grasp without looking too much like a fool.
But that was OK, we quickly discovered. Some were here to assist and guide w/o condemning our newness, without dismissing our often-timed quirky requests and occasional plain 'unable -to-grasp-it-ness'. But, admit it, it's been fun so far, hasn't it?
Of course we have experienced the wrath and weirdness of some posters that just had not come to understand the special bond that has been forged between us. They questioned our questions, dismissed our methods and complained about our Missouri way of doing things.
How dare they. but, in the long run, we are still here. Every single one of us. We are still here, and we 'ain't gonna go away'.

Ah, da jammer, see, there again, is why this forum is so special. Y'all keep reminding us 'natives' of just how much we have here...and you bring your freshness to this middle of the country state that at times can be accused of going just a little bit stale at times. And I thank you, Sir jammer...
