Im sorry too R.L! Its nice to have the other pets when you loose one. THey seem to understand and comfort you. My kitties always know when Im sad and rub against me purring. No JD not the one I poke with a stick!!  Who by the way I captured and also had spayed. She is beautiful!

Sheesh Pepples I am so glad I straighten you all out. Don't get around much ....Huh you thinking it was DEER.... Oh please.... You need to stop going to the pet store.... You gotta go to the FARMS to see real animals... Then you can tell the difference. |

Furry friend...the hunt is on
Well Kareybear..the hunt is now on for the perfect puppy to join our home.
Right now I'm looking thru the shelter websites (the pic's are so sad...ya want to adopt 'em all).
We're looking for a baby this time...12 weeks or so as we want the baby to really be "trained" by mom in the first three months. Probably a puppy that will grow to be in the 40-60 pound range. Maybe a lab, shepard, or golden retreiver mix. Want to get a mix breed that we can save from the pound or worse.
Keepin' my eyes on those "free" ads in the newpaper too...I hate it when they are free..some moron may adopt them to do something bad to them.

Mrschilicook are you looking only in your area because you can look at this website for animal shelter in Missouri or Kansas it depends how far you want to drive. Petfinder.com: Adopt a pet and help an animal shelter rescue a puppy or kitten. Good Luck make sure post us pictures. I am still waiting for my camera which should be here next week. I will give you all an update of my Biscuit. |
