That picture is priceless! I have a soft spot for orange kittys. Years ago a boy who wanted an orange kitten I had rescued form the middle of the steet begged his mom for this cat and she would'nt let him have it. I wanted to make him feel better so I kept the cat and named it after him. Andy. I loved this cat soo sooo much. Well after he passed on, any orange cat that came into my hands I named Andy. This started about 20 years ago. I currently have a 7 month old orange kitten named andy. He wont hold still long enough for me to take his picture. My camera refuses to take action shots.
Anywho thanks for sharing the photo its soo paint worthy.

Kareybear, I can tell you I will never have another type of dog again. Aussies are so very intelligent, loyal, fun, wonderful , wigglebutts!!
Any tips, yes, they need to use their brains and have a job, even if it is playing frisbee. They are so smart, that if you dont use their brains, they will, and usually it will mean trouble.
I had all my puppy owners take a obidience course with their dogs, to teach them how to teach their dogs....I offered a $25 rebate with the completion of the course.
They are also velcro dogs, they are not happy to not be around you. I have such a hard time when I see one that is tied out , and not allowed to be in the house with you, they can and will go crazy from this. They need to be with their people, their biggest joy in life is to make you happy.
If you want great info on Aussies go to Theaustralianshepherd.net
there is a forum there, the aussie board, that you can learn soooo much about them..........
thank you for your compliments, it was an outstanding litter, and all my furkids are well loved in their forever homes............One thing I waNT to tell you tho, although color ( blue merle, black tri whatever) is nice, pick your dog based on their personality, not color. A good breeder will evaluate your family, your lifestyle , and help you pick the best dog for your life, not based on color........Although I am partial to the red tri's! (My big man Max is a stunner, IMHO!)

Wow great info and I will check out that website very soon. I do plan to have my dog inside with the rest of us. I thought about frisbee training but I heard it is very hard on their joints. I am planning to do clicker training but my biggest challege is to potty train her outside a spot that I will pick for her. I want to teach her how to ring the bell by the door to let me know since I am hard of hearing. Yes I know they like to keep busy and I am a stay at home mom the dog will be with me all times unless I gotta go to the store. I can't take her but I wish I could though. Hate to leave them at home. She will be just like my kid. I never and never leave my kids in the car and I won't do the same for my pup as well. As far color goes your right if the personality fits me but I really really want a blue merle female dog. Sorry!!! Who knows I might pick different color. I just that I have been waiting for 5 years and research and I want the dog that I have been waiting colors and all. If I have to I will wait until a blue merle female that is just right for our family. Do you have any tips to find out if this dog is right for us? Oh yeah I need to go another thread. Thanks again for your help.

this is Mr. Bo jangles ... hes the most annoying cat one can have be we love him!! He is my daycare greeter .. much like the Walmart Greeter he jumps out of no where to say hello each morning as the daycare kids arrive! We thought we lost him and my daycare kids were asking every day where he was.
