Parvo is a serious risk in any breed, mixed or pure. Always get your dog from a reputable breeder. Always keep your pup away from ANY dogs till they have their vacine for parvo....

ShadowCaver she is just too adorable. May I have her? Or at least 'baby-sit' her some time? I want one just like her....
Had a Bassett hound at one time. He was stolen out of my yard. Had another one, but he got hit by a semi on the hiway near our home. He ran off following a neighbor's dog.
Had a 'mutt' also. She lived to be 16 years old. Gosh I do miss her. She was very independent but also very lovable. Have to find a picture or two.
However, here is a picture of an uninvited 'pet'..

It be a Black snake. Sorry to say that after a coupla days, he slithered off in to back yard and then was gone.
My husband brought home 17 black snake eggs one time that he found while doing excavation work for a friend at the friend's farm. Momma snake had laid her eggs partly under a tree stump.
We made a large cage for said eggs with chicken wire on all 6 sides. After about 2 weeks my DH took a sharp knife and attempted to cut open one of the eggs. Whooppppppsss, poor baby The other 16 hatched later taking their own sweet time about it.
Have pictures somewhere of son holding the baby snakes and even one of me holding a few. So very soft but yet firm and NOT slimy. Hate it when people say that.
Along came October, so we took the new little friends and placed them in different locations in the woods that surround our home. Did this so that they would become acclimated to the area and make a home prior to the coming winter. Every year we have a few that pass this way and I sometimes wonder if any of them were at one time one of our 'babies'

Our little preshuss ones...
Well, I sure am enjoying this thread and all these pics! Thanks bentaxlecrew! I finally made it here!
So, here are our two preshuss ones...
This is our kitten, Sunny or Sonnie as we've come to spell it because we didn't want the other cats to make fun of him or beat him up 'cause he had a girlie name. He got his name because he loves laying in the sun where it comes in the windows. But it is also a play on words and becomes Sonnie in that we got him specifically for my husband and we only had a girl cat so he's daddy's only son. Hahaha! This day, he had been playing rough with Daddy and he was panting!!!
This is one of our little girl, Princess! We named her that because she was so young and frightened when we got her but she always felt safe when she was on her little pillow. We even carried her from room to room on it and it was like a security pillow! Hahaha! Little did we know that she would believe she WAS a princess!!!
Ahem! Yes, she IS sitting on a stool in front of the TV! Hahaha! No, it is not NORMALLY there! It just so happens that there was a particularly cute "bee" on the screen that had her attention! Ohhh, okay! YES, she IS spoiled! There! Are ya happy, now?
