Hello everyone, I'm deciding it's time to move out of my current apartment complex in Columbia, Missouri. Mainly because the rent is increasing by almost $100 for next year. This apartment complex is nice but it was built probably before 1980 and is in what others would classify as a "not so good" part of town (even though I haven't had that much problem). I can't justify why they would raise the rent so much in such a short period of time other than they are seeing an opportunity to price gouge because of the trailer park evictions.
So, does anyone know of a good apartment complex in Columbia, something under $500 and also, I would like to find a place that DOESN'T allow pets...especially dogs.
Also, no sec 8 housing allowed plz. I work downtown so I would like to remain somewhat close but that really doesn't matter as much.
So, any ideas are welcome.
