Plenty goin' on...right here!
Springfield is having an Artsfest this weekend! I just saw this in the paper...sounds like fun!
$3 tickets at McDonalds...$5 at the gate for adults. Kids 10 & under are free! There are LOTS of things to do...and an evening event that's FREE for all to attend!
Check it out:
Artsfest to feature more than 140 artists | News-Leader.com | Springfield News-Leader
Oh! And I wouldn't want you to forget the 8th Annual Spring Festival in Mansfield on Sunday and Monday. Tickets are $4 per person but kids 14 & under are free. They offer free tent and RV space (with no registration) and lots of fun!
Here's your link for that: May 4 & 5 Heritage Days
Next, Convoy of Hope and a slew of others are putting on a Family Preparedness Festival this weekend in Springfield. It is a way to learn how to prepare for emergencies and learn what resources are available for you locally. If you go by any Starbucks location or O'Reilly Auto Parts Store, you can pick up free tickets but they're also available for only $3 at the door. Senior citizens and children (12 & under) are free.
Here's a link to Convoy of Hope's site: Hope Begins Here :: An Initiative of Convoy of Hope
Finally, here's a link to 417 Magazine's calendar page, giving info on many more things happening in 417 Land!

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend whatever you do...or don't do!

Two by two....
You have to buy them in person at the Sight and Sound Theatre, on the day of the show you want to see...
Have you seen the commercial for that show? It is going to be great! When are you going? We'll get together!

http://www.bransonticket.com/showsched.php
We are going to Branson and I found this website. You just put in the dates you will be there and it tells you which shows are running. I thought that was neat. Boy, there are a lot of shows.
