Default Ozark Christmas in Rolla

Don't miss the Ozark Christmas in Rolla if you can help it. Lots of bluegrass music, even a bluegrass ballet. It's unlikely you've seen such a thing. Well, here's your chance on Dec. 12 at 5 p.m., Leach Theatre, Castleman Hall, Missouri S & T campus, Rolla. Tickets are on sale now.

Thanks OB. Hope to make it there.

Also, Firearms deer season opened today. Wish that I had been able to go out in the woods. Miss the times when our sons, their cousins and my BILs would all come here and we enjoyed deer season together. We would gather around during lunch time, for those who came in for lunch! Swap stories of the mornings events, eat a little or a lot of Venison Chili, crackers, cheeses, and maybe even a drink of Apricot Brandy!

I hope to make it tomorrow sometime. While everyone else would be up a 4 am, I would wait and go out about 7 or 8 am and within an hour or so harvest my deer! . I hated to get up so darn early like the rest.

Mostly quiet around here today. Hardly any shooting. Nothing like a freezer with some Venison tenderloin, sausage, and burger, steaks, and chops. Maybe tomorrow, Then again, maybe Monday!!! Good luck to all of the hunters . And for Heaven's sake, Please, please, be careful out there!!!
