in no particular order:
Northern California
NE 'bama, Northern Ga
NW Arkysaw
Kentucky
if created a rectangle, using the following cities as the approximate corners, anywhere within this box then is also very beautiful, and reminds me of parts of Missouri, so,,, could likewise live there:
SW corner: Birmingham, AL
NW corner: Nashville, TN
NE corner: Greensboro, NC
SE corner: Chester, SC
Interesting thread 2b!
of course, this is being typed by a city-loving hillbilly country bumpkin...

Haven't traveled enough to make a serious answer, so will base my choice just on emotions.
Since Missouri is my home, would want to be near as possible, so:
The Ozark region of northern Arkansas
If not there, then NW Georgia. Fell in love w/that area.
Good question!!!

Well say money is not an issue. Northern Ca would be beautiful!
Ive been to the Dakota's and I liked it there also. I like anything country.
Tennessee would be my runner-up. Yeah, Tennesee.

This question is not applicable for me because I am moving to NH. LOL
However, I will turn the question around.
If money was no issue I would live in
Bar Harbor, Maine
Charlevoix, Michigan
Coeur de Alene, Idaho
Bend, Oregon
Saranac Lake, New York
Seaside, California

If money were no object...
If money were no object:
Santa Fe, New Mexico
Carmel Valley, CA
Napa, CA
Newport Rhode Island
And a summer home in Victoria British Colombia...out near the Bushhart Gardens where I could visit every day.
But since money is an object...I'll stay right where I'm at in the good old Branson area.

ShadowCaver: 'clearly demonic spawn'? So, if I get this right, you are, and I quote, Funk & Wagnalls Practical Standard Dictionary, 'n. the product OF evil or devilish spirits.' So, then, your parents are evil and devilish and demons? Hmmmm. Wonder how they feel about that? :0
