I read to about the tax on cars but then again it is the same to me as what they charge in Calif based on the cars worth as each year it go's down .In calif you pay it to the DMV in Missouri to the county so really the same thing just a deferent way of looking at it. I did forget about the inspection as I have never had to do that and there are more then a few cars on the road here that should not be if we had it. I also had to pay taxes in two states when I moved calif and Idaho. It stinks but what ya going to do and as was stated if the living makes up for it then it is just a speed bump in the road
I also but could be wrong on this read that a out of state drivers lic is not proof your an American citizen .I know in Calif you do not have to be one to get a driver lic.
