Default Tractor pix

As promised here is a pix of my new tractor...and last night's campground. It started raining this AM and hasn't stopped. Tearing down camp in the rain is such fun!

I started learning to use the New Holland, it came with a bucket and a brush hog. It's amazing what you can get done with real tools! Now I just need to find a posthole digger!

Why did you take your tractor on a camping trip???
If you need some post holes you can go to the store and buy a box of post holes, And slip them right in the ground,,

I live in Fenton and my land is between Fredericktown and Patton on Hwy 72.
I have a well and electric on the property but that's it. The tent is my hotel room...I have a ceiling fan and night reading light AND I have a wireless card in my laptop so I can stay on line..

The previous tenants left the place a mess so I am doing clean up work.
What is it with these country trash piles anyway?

I hope to build a 5/6 acre lake someday, I have a great little hollow that is perfect for a lake that will be at least 30'-40' deep in places...and then a cabin next to it. At least that's the plan for now, God willing and the creek don't rise!

Your killing me! . OK, I am going to respond as if you really want to know and aren't jerking my chain. Plus this allows me to run up my post count.

Yes I have a gun, I am a firm believer in the 2nd amendment plus there is a cab off an old Ford F150 down in my woods. It's fun as heck to shoot! I usually bring 2 or 3 and blast away for a while every trip, you can't beat it for stress relief.

I pack in food/beer and use a tactic developed by the military called a slit trench, I will let you figure out what that is.

I love camping...sitting around a camp fire in the middle of no where is one of my favorite things to do. When you live in the suburbs you forget how big the sky is and how many stars are up there, sometimes you just have to get back to basics.
