Clinton is where we do some of our shopping. We love the downtown shops and have found all of the business people very friendly and helpful. If they don't have what you are looking for they will try to help you find it. They have a great family owned (I think) garden center, Green's Street Market. They also have an Aldi's and a movie theater. We like El Camino's too!

We had to cross Clinton off the list. We really liked the nice square and free community center.

I think there might be a dirt track at Bolivar as well. My dad used to own and race midgets back in the50's and 60's. I have been to many dirt tracks as a kid.

Ya bolivar is closed again and I think they are trying to sell. We are looking at Nixa. Ozark, Rogersville and Rupublic(if we can get some answers about how the attack on the 7th grade girl was handled).

What about Wheaton? Lucas Oil has a track there. I hear they also have boat races.

Welcome to Lucas Oil Speedway

I got racially profiled by the police in Clinton going to college in Springfield, so my opinion of the people there isn't so great.

The only thing I can think of negative is that its a bit far away from any of the larger cities. Other then that, its a beautiful place, lots of fishing, local gun range, a great community feel.
