Default Four Seasons Lodge

Has anyone stayed or been to the Four Seasons Lodge in the Ozarks? I went to the web-site, but they don't have a lot of pictures. It sounds really nice, but sometimes the internet paints a better picture then it really is.

Was wondering if it was nice?

I just stayed there this week on business and I was dissapointed. Just down the road from the Lodge is a place called the Country Club Resort Hotel. It looks much more up to date. If I need to stay in that area again, that is where I will stay.

Just as an FYI, the Ozarks is a large region. I generally don't think of the Lake of the Ozarks (where the 4 Seasons is) as being connected to the SW Missouri Ozarks (Springfield/Branson). It is really more connected with central Missouri in my mind.

jzim is on a distinguished road
I've stayed there once, a freebie overnight room. It was fine, no complaints. The room we stayed in was old, but updated, no problem. The front entrance of the check-in desk has the most beautiful wood carving I've ever seen. The grounds are kept-up and modern. It's a popular destination, even after all these years.
