Nothing wrong with an honest question. No one wants to be in any environment that isnt friendly for any reason. And like you said I think most have their own way of asking, your's was more direct and respectful. From reading your posts I am sure everyone knows you meant no harm I know I do

Ladies, ladies, ladies.....fear not that your replies to topics are causing problems 'round here. You folks aren't doing anything wrong and there can be many reasons that a thread is closed down. Please DO NOT! feel like you cannot post anything that you wish to say in this forum!

We are actually very fortunate to have Plains10 as the apparent primary moderator here in the MO forum. Many moderators have a tendency to act like post and thread nazis, where all it takes is a post to veer slightly off topic and WAM! thread locked or deleted. Not so with our man Plains10, not even close.

Since this particular site is designed and primarily dedicated to questions regarding the relocation of people throughout the U.S., technically ANY thread that does not fall within that parameter can be removed or closed down by anyone on the C-D staff. We are pretty lucky to be able to goof off as much as we have, do and will continue to here in da MO forum.

This Chatter Box thread was a fabulous idea of Northwest Voyager's (no wonder she has the "Sheriff's Badge" ) and is the bestest place to yap about anything ya'll have a mind to. If someone else would like to post up a thread something like "Pictures of beautiful MO and the best cameras to take them with" then we can keep the ball rolling AND help people like the lovely kareybear out with the best camera out there for her's and anyone else's needs

I am just as much at fault as you feel you are. It was I that responded to your post. Had I not, perhaps the thread might not have been closed. I'm sorry for my lack of judgement.....it was purely unintentional. Perhaps it is I that should 'keep my mouth shut'. Still friends???

It is I that must apologize to everyone. I feel it was my poor judgement, and had I not breached the R&Rs, we might not be having this discussion. Perhaps we all need to band together and watch each other's backs more closely. Maybe I should take your lead and not stray to topics that might incite corrective action....especially when it affects my friends.

Dear, Dear Jams,

You are right....we are very lucky to have Plains10 as our Mod. He's proven that he's got a heart and has indeed given us a lot of 'rope'. And you are also right about this forum being primarily for providing information to those seeking geographical & relocation information. That can not be disputed. And maybe we are all guilty of enjoying each others' company & friendship a little more than we should demonstrate. But oooohhhh how difficult it is to refrain.

With that said.....you say that we shouldn't feel as though we are doing anything wrong. But, as evidenced by the comments here, we obviously do. Jams, we are all obvioulsy having a very difficult time adjusting to the changes that are occuring here. Not that the changes are not warranted, just because we tend to follow our hearts. We're just truly happy to have such wonderful friends to spend time with. And quite honestly, I think it's a rarity that we should be very proud of.

What can we do to make life easier on not only ourselves, but on Plains10 and yourself as well. We are adults, and the need for 'babysitting' shouldn't be a frequent thing. So how do we make the necessary adjustments without incurring further reprimand & discipline?

Are we in the wrong place? Are we wrong to want to form friendships with each other? Where is the balance?

Jams, we all obviously love it here, and want to remain. What plan of action is necessary to keep this the awesome, happy, jovial place it is?
