That would have to be my husbands pet peeve. Im always misplacing his tools. Also anything he puts down I tend to pick up and put away. He hates that. Its not intentional. I just figure he's done and away it goes. His cup, a shirt on the chair, bye bye I hate clutter.

LOL! Its late and I cant sleep...again. Im remembering the other day when im getting in my truck to pick my daughter up from school. I put my boy in his seat, buckle him and step back out to shut the door. KERPLUNK! Before I could blink this huge black lab jumps in the back seat and sits thier exhausted looking at me. Looked just like shadows dog. At first I thought it was my neighbors dog. I pet her and called her by name." Come out princess" Then I realized it was a he and not a she. I grabbed my son back out of the truck. I treid to coax this dog out with food and he would not budge. Meanwhile its getting late. I had to leave my windows open ( it was hot and I didnt want him to suffer)
borrow my mother-in-laws vehicle to pick up my girl and come back. MY husband is now on his way home. All the while "only you Connie" he complained. He had to physically shove the dog out. When he tried to offer the dog water he ran away. What was even funnier was the next morning I was telling my neighbor what happened and before I could finish she said" that same dog hopped into my car not 15 minutes later" We both laughed! Her oldest son had to do the same thing. Shove the dog out. He was huge!

I was called to snake removal duty this evening! My lil baby girl is downstairs in her rocking recliner listening to music and all a sudden I hear her rippin' up the stairs. She comes running into the family room with her eyes as big as a plate. "sweetie, what's wrong??" says papa..."daddy there is a big snake downstairs crawling across the carpet!!" says DD.
Hmmm....with very little (none) experience capturing and removing BIG snakes from my house...I was in somewhat of a quandary as I headed down into the "cave".
Arriving rather quickly into the "danger zone" my DD pointed over to the corner where she claimed to see this "anaconda". I gallantly hustle over to the area she pointed out to find not a big snake, not a medium snake....heck not even a little snake! I find this...oh maybe a foot long and as big around as a pencil...baby snake frozen in fear at the sight of this impressive hulk of MO manhood looming over him/her ( ok the kid thinks her pops is a hulk and it seems to work out alright ). Poor lil thing!! So I scoop the scary lil beast up, gave it a free ride out to the south forty, and the frightful episode came to a satisfactory conclusion as far as the high school freshman was concerned
sorry folks that's all I got for today

OH Lord help me! I need a break! Another "only you Connie" moment. Its raining in Cali this morning. Beautiful, I love it. I let the hounds out for a potty break. After about 10 minutes thier barking up a storm so I peek out the window. I then run outside as this little tiny charcoal grey kitten goes running up my cat tree which is on the patio. The dog still trying to reach him to play. I grab the kitten and run inside. He/she is hissing and fighting me the whole way so I enclose im my pantry. I take my kids to school and return home. See these kittens live behind my fence and are pretty ferril so far. So Im going to show this kitty we are good peoples. Problem is, I cant find it now. Could he have possibly squeezed under the door? AAAAAAAAAAAGH! I have got to tear this house apart and find it before my husband does. He would be livid! Hopefully he doesnt read this while he's at work.

Hey, I found the little buger! He was hiding behind some canned juice! I think I will keep this one and if he is a male I will name him.........Hobbes.
Because he looks like a little shadow. I will post a picture of him on the pets thread a little later today! I keep calling it a him dont I. Sometimes you just know by looking at thier little faces.
