kbear - nope, don't have to move; just drive ~1 hour instead of 30 minutes each way. But, be worth it - get out of the political and union/management bs was infected with there. Just wrote about this in the Missouri Thanksgiving thread. Your daughter is going to make all of us very proud--and profoundly grateful. That should go for all the women and children in Afghanistan as well.

As much as you can, keep us posted on how she does over there! We are absolutely 100 percent behind the two of you here in the MO forums. Prayers for and Godspeed to her as she gets "in country" over in Afghanistan. What is her first name, if it's OK for me to ask?

Hey you all I have a Question? I never lived this cold of a climate. Do I need to keep my thermometer at a certain temp so my pipes don't burst. I have a basement that isn't very well insulated and I can't keep it warm down in the basement where the heater and furnace is. So do you think I still need to keep the upper part of the house at a certain temperature? Thanks Karey
