It was 65 degrees this morning...it's now 40...with 35-40 MPH gusts...
A strong cold front will continue to surge across the Ozarks through 3 PM bringing sharply falling temperatures. The cold front will extend from near Salem to Gainesville by 2 PM. Northwest winds of 25 to 35 mph with higher gusts...and sharply falling temperatures will follow the frontal passage. Temperatures will fall from the lower 60s to below freezing within a couple of hours of frontal passage. Light snow will spread into southeast Kansas and west central Missouri... and affect areas west of a line from Joplin to Osceola.

S'chilly.

How right you are, ShadowCaver!!! I love this kind of a day. It was pretty entertaining to watch the wind blow the snow off of our roof late this afternoon. Would have thought that we lived in the frozen tundra. Not so much snow as had expected here.

But......will watch for what happens Wed. evening and/or Thursday around here. Maybe, maybe, many, many inches. Forecasters, as usual, still are not committing themselves to any definite amount.

It is now only 18 degrees, but should drop during the early A.M. hours. My hubby covered my windshield for me...have to go to 'work' tomorrow. At least this time, no ice underneath the snow!!! As said before, y'all take care out there and just enjoy.Hi again, ShadowCaver!

Default Chilly Willy!!

Well, "they" finally got it right!! (weather dude) We have about 5 inches of snow in Kimberling City! http://bestsmileys.com/winter/11.gif (broken link)
I took Hubby to work, and kept the 4X4 and went to work, but left early, thinking that I might have trouble getting up the hill to get back home... And I was right!! A little slippery, to say the least. Brought some work home, but am all done! Went out and played with the doggies! FUN!! FUN!! FUN!! Check out my hood!
