Exclamation Witness recants account in Columbia editor’s death

Something to watch on this one. Witness says the Boone County Prosecutor coached him on what to sat. The former Prosecutor is now a Judge.

1. In the even the witness is believed as to being coached will it affect cases from the past?

2. Will this former Prosecutor turn out to be another Kinney Hulshof?
Questions surround Kenny Hulshof’s tactics in murder prosecutions

Did Hulshof push the rules to win? And in doing so, did he sometimes convict innocent people?

update:

Crane denies claims of Ferguson witnesses | The Columbia Daily Tribune - Columbia, Missouri

Former prosecutor denies the claim.

Makes you wonder what was in it for the witness back then and why recant now. Only means trouble for him.

Actually two witnesses have recanted their testimony.

Information from others: Two more unheard from witnesses.

http://www.columbiatribune.com/news/...ub-testify-in/

Two witnesses who did not give testimony at convicted murderer Ryan Ferguson's 2005 jury trial told their stories this morning to a court for the first time.
