We were first considering Farmington actually! A neighbor of ours is from there and going back there. The more we looked around the state the more we liked Nixa and Ozark. Branson and Hollister is dreamy.

Sorry, not very entertaining.....visited Lake of the Ozarks, fell in love, bought a house, bought a boat....end of our story! The lake reached right up and grabbed our hearts!!

My husand and I wanted a lake front home, some of my family moved to the state a year or so ago. Researched Lake of the Ozark for about a year. First time senting foot in the state and we house shopping. Found a wonderful retirement/second home. We fly back and forth every couple months from California. We love it!!! Everything we could want and more! Can't wait to get back there in a couple of weeks!
