What is up with Columbia?Officers group wants Chief Burton fired
Chief Burton under fire! The Union wants him out. He says he is getting the house in order. Some officers don't like his plans.
What do the citizens say? I Remember there was an incident where the Swat team raided a home and shot a dog in front of a child.
Officers group wants Chief Burton fired | The Columbia Daily Tribune - Columbia, Missouri
Burton said he does not believe a majority of his department agrees with Cuttle and that the officers union is "running rampant." He also said he believes the officers who are most vocal are having a hard time adjusting to accountability.
"Nobody likes being held accountable," Burton said. "Rules had to be put into place to get things under control. It started with SWAT. Changes are not always comfortable."
