Exclamation Just my 2 cents ... if it matters

First off when I came to city data ...... i was looking for info on Missouri ........ a forum is a communication device! Yes a way to communicate about what the topic is

What is Missouri .. where is it ..why is it etc etc etc .............

so any who I came on the FORUM to discuss and learn of the nature of Mo folks!

Now lately there are all these critics who think this or that we shouldn't talk just post ........ thats what web sites are just post ........so if we wanted to just read POST we would visit Ozark web page or Springfields home site or the local area might have a local office that distributes reading material.etc...
the forum gives you a touch of attitude .. a touch of what the REAL people of Missouri are like!

I don't know what one expects from a forum ... but I sure have found a wonderful group to chat about with like and dislikes of a particular topic .. all surrounded by what brought us together in the first place - MISSOURI!

I am aggravated to see such topics posting bashing those on here that discuss there lives and who they are .... who we all are is what makes Missouri Missouri ......... and if ya don't like such talk ............. I hope you find a place way out in BFE .......... and do not have neighbors and lord forbid need to stop at the local gas station or get a cup of coffee .because when I was in Missouri .. they chat your leg off ...........

I love Missouri because of all of what it offers not just the low prices or decent taxes but the people that make it complete!

and another thing .......if ya don't like it don't read it ........ there are parts of Missouri I don't want to know about - I just don't open that post .. I move on.. bigger fish in the sea to worry about other than a darn ol post!

Again this is just my 2 cents and I am sorry if I offend anyone but this is my feelings my thoughts - and I think I have some right by that big paper to say this .. ya know .. oh whats it called .. some political paper!

I agree 100% with you. The reason I post as often as I do and respond as often as I do is because I feel comfortable doing so. I am from a big city and I absolutely love hearing stories about families and communities. It shows me the type of lifestyle I am really missing out on and want. People like that warm fuzzy feeling you get on these boards and that is exactly what keeps people coming back to post and attracting new people. And lets face it these conversations that take place lead to other questions that you sometimes dont even think to ask. So I agree with 2be just dont read the post skip to something else.

Glad to have you over here. Might want to check out the 'Chatter Box' once in awhile. Some are now posting there with thoughts and going-ons, etc. Place for all of us to, as the title of the thread says: Chatter...just for fun and ask for things, advice, help, anything not covered by a traditional thread. come on over and share w/us your thoughts, and , well, just anything.

2b - Freedom of Speech, Right? We all have different opinions about everything. We can't always agree, if we did life would be boring. I too came to City Data recommended by a friend researching a possible move to MO. I couldn't believe all the information everyone was giving. I wish I had known about City Data before I made my move. Lots of info from very informative Missouri folks.
