The title says it all! Looking at the most perfect little 3 bedroom on about 1.5 acres with a single wide that is currently rented by a small family. Someone just informed me that conventional loans are difficult to finance a property with 2 homes... what about USDA? I live in the Advance / Jackson / Zalma area in Southeast Missouri. The property itself is outside Sturdivant. It's a rural area and 2 residences like that are quite common, but will I be able to get the USDA loan?
I do not know if the seller has 2 different titles or liens for the 2 dwellings. I am finding that out asap, but in the meantime, I need information and my googling has proven unsuccessful and unsettling.
