Where are you guys looking to stay as a base of operations? Do you want something a bit more in town? I am sure Wentzville has plenty of options for extended stay, though if I were you I'd probably prefer a rental if you can't find one flexible enough.

I find those extended stay places seem to turn into rentals for shady folks who are either runaways or have bad credit, criminal records or unverifiable (under the table) income.

We are open to base operations as long as its 30 miles or so into Wentzville. We have to find something that will allow me to visit with our pups (poodles). It can be in Wentzville or it can be outside of there. Just looking to find something...
Found out today we do not have 30 days more like 12 days.....YIKES.......

Millersburg is 75 miles to Wentzville- to do that in 30 to 40 minutes you'd have to drive very fast indeed!

I was about to say--you'd really need to be rippin' along I-70 to make it in that length of time! There's so much big rig traffic along this stretch too. And you can't read what it says on all those billboards going that fast! Don't feel bad, Marrissa--we don't want you either getting pulled over by a state trooper or paying a king's ransom in gasoline! The OP will be really happy if you can send a direct message with that real estate info, I'm sure.

LOL LOL You guys are cracking me up! On our visit last year we did quite a stint on I-70 and those truckers keep er' rolling pretty well through there.

Any information on rentals would be appreciated. We are clean freaks so anyone that gets us as a tenant will be thrilled. We have not rented anything (always own our home) since we first got married (many moons ago)However, there is so many wonderful areas there I think we will have a hard time choosing a house to buy. Hence, the reason to rent something.

Thanks for look out for all of us "northbayeric"...HA!
Thanks for Marrissa lending some information....by the way what kind of car do you drive so I can keep a look out for you on I-70?
